Félix Rocha Espumante Blanc de Blancs Bruto 2019 is a sparkling wine from the Lisbon region made from the Arinto and Fernão Pires grape varieties The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils from the Jurassic period with sun exposure to the northwest The average yield of grapes is 80hl per hectare. Production follows the classic method with a mechanical harvest at the end of August The grapes are picked in an excellent state of health and quickly transported to the winery where they undergo total destemming, soft pressing and cold static decanting Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius A second fermentation follows in the bottle with a minimum ageing period of 12 months. The aroma is fresh and fruity with notes of orange peel, white plum and light toasted bread. The palate is creamy and fresh with fruity notes and well-balanced acidity, providing a harmonious blend of elegance and complexity. The alcohol content is 12.5% with a total acidity of 6.2 g/l, a pH of 3.24 and a reducing sugar content of 2.5 g/l. For best preservation, it is recommended to store in a horizontal position away from direct light in a cool, humid place For long periods, it should be kept in the same position It should be served between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius.
