This high quality red wine is made from the Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties, grown on clay-limestone soils from the Jurassic period. With an alcohol content of 14.5%, it has a balanced acidity and firm tannins that provide a remarkable sensory experience. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of macerated black fruit, spices and violets, while on the palate it offers a rich and persistent texture, with fruity notes on the finish. Winemaking includes foot treading in lagares to maximize the extraction of color and aromas, followed by malolactic fermentation in new barrels. The wine is aged in French oak for 12 months, ensuring complexity and elegance. Ideal served at 16°C, it pairs perfectly with roast meats, spicy dishes, strong cheeses and smoked sausages.
