Félix Rocha Moscatel Graúdo 2023 is a wine sourced in the Lisbon region Light produced exclusively from the Moscatel Graúdo grape variety The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils from the Jurassic period with sun exposure to the northwest The average yield is 75hl per hectare The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of August, ensuring that they are in an excellent state of health The grapes are picked into 20kg boxes and quickly transported to the winery, where they undergo total destemming, soft pressing and cold static decanting Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature Aging on fine lees is followed by fining and filtration, respecting the integrity of the wine. The aroma has intense notes of orange blossom, citrus peel and fresh exotic fruit The palate shows a good balance between fruit, acidity and freshness, providing a long-lasting sensation in the mouth The profile is fresh and elegant. The alcohol content is 9.5% with a total acidity of 5.65 g/l and a pH of 3.02 The reducing sugar content is 6.1 g/l. For best conservation, it is recommended to store in a horizontal position away from direct light in a cool place with some humidity. It should be served between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius It can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with seafood salads and sushi The winemaker responsible for producing this wine is Luís Maia
